**Please make sure your child has appropriate winter clothing attire for recess!

*5B is in need of magazines, Painter Pens, and Clorox wipes...if you can donate to our classroom that would be greatly appreciated!

*Thanks for all the donations to the 5B Classroom. Please check the "Wish List" Section of my website for other materials 5B is looking for. 5B could use decks of cards. If you have any around the house that you aren't using, please send them in with your child!

*Edline - Edline grades are updated. There is an option to receive an e-mail when grades are updated. This is a great options so you don't have to constantly be checking! If you see an **, your child used a homework pass or was absent. If you see a 0, it is a late assignment or there wasn't a name on it! Since there are 2 lists in spelling, your child will have ** under the list they were not on that week. For instance, if your child was on the regular list, they will have ** under the challenge list.

*Safety Patrol: Please have your child dress in weather appropriate apparel for their safety patrol duty throughout the year. If it is rainy, please have them wear a poncho or other waterproof apparel to keep your head and body dry. If it is cold, please have them wear a coat, had and gloves!! A poncho side note: Your child will be able to use their ponchos for Outdoor Education in 6th grade too!

*POP TABS - I collect pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. If you have any at home or would liek to start saving them, it would be greatly appreciated. The Ronald McDonald House turns these in for recycling and use the money to help pay their electric bills. The Ronald McDonald House is a place where families who have children at Children's Hospital can stay during their time here in Omaha. Please help a worthy cause...and it is simple!

**Keep sending in Box Tops and soup labels!

Enjoy your 4 day weekend!
