WHOLE CLASS REWARD SYSTEM - 5B will be utilizing a class "Marble Jar" to help promote positive and cooperative behavior from the class. The class will be able to earn and lose marble(s) for their behavior from myself and other teachers. Once the "Marble Jar" is full, the class will vote on a way to celebrate their success!!!
INDIVIDUAL CLASS REWARD SYSTEM - Students will receive "5B REWARD TICKETS" from Mrs. Wilds or Mrs. Gell when they are caught doing something good. They will be responsible for keeping their tickets in a safe spot. Students will then be able to turn in their tickets for various prizes. Different prizes will be worth different amounts of tickets.
CLASSROOM CHECKMARK CHART - Each 5th grade classroom has a checkmark chart that travels with them throughout the day. Students can receive checkmarks for excessive talking, being out of their seat at an inappropriate time, disrupting the class, and not having the necessary supplies for a class, out of uniform, etc. If a student receives three checkmarks in one day, that will result in a demerit that they can't stay after school for. A student will be issued 2 green behavior warning tickets. If a student is displaying inappropriate behavior or having organizational difficulty, the student will be asked for a green ticket and checkmark will be marked on the checkmark chart. A demerit will be issued if the student loses both green tickets and then is asked for an additional ticket in that same day.
